Complete architectural and interior design, including complex governmental approvals and site improvements. Renovation and restoration of one of the first buildings on the University of Colorado campus. Built in 1892, the 40,000 square foot facility will house the Department of Anthropology faculty offices, laboratory facilities, large lecture halls and small classroom settings. The renovation includes the replacement of flooring, complete masonry restoration, window replacement, extensive millwork and finishes restoration, replacement of electrical and mechanical system with new, energy efficient equipment, application of CCHE requirements and code compliance of all life safety systems. The Hale Sciences Building is on the National Register of Historic Places and all modifications are in compliance with the Secretary of the Interior guidelines.
